We always have such a great time at the festivals downtown, and A Taste of Brighton was no exception! The perfect mix of good food, rockin’ music, and local businesses means that there’s plenty to do all weekend. 4th of July Parade

You can’t miss this staple of Independence Day- The Fourth of July Parade in downtown Brighton put on by the Livingston Sunrise Rotary! Brighton Ford once again had the opportunity to deck out some vehicles in red, white, and blue, and join the parade. We even brought some friends with us! Thank you so much to the Michigan Broncos Club and 102.9 W4 Country for joining us in celebrating the 4th of July!

Michigan Challenge Balloonfest

Brighton Ford was proud to be a Balloon Basket Sponsor for the 39th annual Michigan Challenge Balloonfest, and we were so excited to get a sneak peek at all the fun things that the weekend had in store! This event always has something for everyone, and this year was no exception. In addition to balloon launches, there was a family fun tent that had activities for all ages, an open air marketplace, live musicians, a classic car show, carnival rides from Big Rock Amusements, and so much more!

Pinckney Art in the Park

Brighton Ford and the Marketing Team was excited to participate in the 23rd annual Pinckney Art in the Park! This event ran June 1-2, 2024 downtown Pinckney and featured artists in all media, sweet treats, food trucks, entertainment and more. Even though there was some rain, the event was successful, and we were happy to be able to participate.

In addition to being "Pastel" sponsors, Brighton Ford provided breakfast both days for all of the volunteers and artists. When the Pinckney, Putnam, Hartland, Hell Chambers joined forces with the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce, it introduced us to so many more local events. Hartland Polo Classic

Brighton Ford is always proud to sponsor the Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce's Polo Classic and Family Polo Party. This event is a fundraiser for the Hartland Chamber and all of the incredible things they do for our community. Some of our team enjoyed a live polo match, strolling dinner, best hat contest, halftime divot stomp, lots of music and more! Sunday's event included another live polo match, food trucks, activities for the kids and another halftime divot stomp. This year's festivities were hosted at Heritage Park in Hartland, Michigan.

The Hartland Chamber has had a strong presence in our community for over 25 years. Their mission is to foster a prosperous community and to advance and expand business in the Hartland area. They provide marketing guidance, referrals, credibility and advocacy to their members all throughout Livingston County.

Firehouse Fridays with W4 Country

This was our first year of participating in W4 Country's Firehouse Friday series. Brighton Ford is proud to partner with 102.9 FM W4 Country on several promotions and community events, but this might be our favorite! Every Friday for several weeks, the morning show visits a local fire department for a live broadcast. The community is invited for a free event that focuses on fire safety!

The Brighton Area Fire Department did not disappoint with this event! They had several firetrucks on display, did a jaws of life demonstration and a fire demonstration showing the importance of keeping internal doors closed at home. A full breakfast was provided and several other local businesses came to show their support and offer giveaways.

Brighton Chamber Annual Dinner 2024

Brighton Ford is proud to be the Presenting Sponsors of the Greater Brighton Area Chamber's Annual Meeting Dinner & Soiree. John Cueter co-emcee'd the presentation and was surprised to win the Heart of Humanity award!

Anyone who knows John knows he is incredibly humble and will always give credit to his mentors and his team. "The Team, The Team, The Team" is prominently displayed in his office because he attributes his success to the success of his team. Last night he was given the recognition he so truly deserves - followed by a standing ovation. John never does anything for the recognition and most of what he does is done so in private, but with the help of some sneaky meetings, we were able to share with the community some of what he does.

As most of our friends and family know, he offered his home to Lindsay Rowe and her husband AJ and their 7 children after their home tragically burned to the ground. They have since become part of the Brighton Ford family and surprised John by coming to the dinner and helping present him with his award!

Please join us in congratulating our leader on this incredible award that truly represents what we try to achieve every single day at Brighton Ford - being the heart of humanity. Our community is better when we all work together and help each other!

Morning Meet & Greet at Brighton Ford

Thank you to everyone who came to our most recent Morning Meet & Greet! It was a great way to start the morning networking with other businesses and people from the community. Our focus this time was making vision boards. We all work for various reasons: financial stability, our passion project, helping others, success, building the community and more. We presented the question "what do you work for" in hopes of inspiring others to either create a board with why they work or what they are hoping to accomplish. Research states that people who set goals are 10 times more likely to be successful. By creating visual reminders of our goals, it created such a fun morning with really meaningful conversation. We appreciate everyone taking time out of their morning to set goals with us and we hope to see you at our next mixer.

Hartland Chamber Black and Bling 2024

One of our favorite events of the year came back and Brighton Ford was proud to sponsor the Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce's Black and Bling event. This event celebrates women in business and provides an afternoon of inspiration, networking and fun. In addition to sponsoring our own "Bling Table" with a raffle prize centerpiece, we were excited to invite several of our female team members to enjoy an afternoon out. Brighton's First Annual Yellowstone Country Music Festival

Brighton Ford was proud to be presenting sponsors of the Greater Brighton Area Chamber's first annual Yellowstone Country Music Festival! Mt. Brighton was filled with western wear, pony rides, food trucks, and of course, some good ol' country music. We had the wonderful opportunity to bring a Ford F-150 Tremor and a Super Duty to our booth, and to sell cowboy hats to benefit the chamber. This family-friendly, outdoor, all-day music festival was an absolute blast!

Pink Out for Breast Cancer

Brighton Ford was happy to be sponsors of this year's Pink Week! Every year students at Brighton High School organize a week of fun and fundraising and encourage younger grades and the community to participate. This year the proceeds benefitted the Warren R. and Lauraine A. Hoensheid Cancer Center at Trinity Health Brighton Medical Center. The week ended with the official Pink Out at the high school football game where the community gathered and rallied and showed our support.

2022 Chamber Speaker Series

We are proud sponsors of the Chamber Alliance's 2022 Chamber Speaker Series. Howell Chamber Golf Classic

Tour de Livingston 2021

Congratulations to all of the riders who participated in the Tour de Livingston 2021! We were honored to support this event. ??

Riders raised funds to help bridge the gap for local hardworking families struggling to meet their most basic needs, prepare every child to be ready for success and build a healthy community for all residents via the Livingston County United Way Basic Needs Program.

Since its start in 2008, the Tour de Livingston has raised over $420,000 to address the community’s most critical needs! The Tour de Livingston is organized and run by the Howell Rotary Club. Brighton Ford & LACASA

We are proud supporters of LACASA - a nonprofit organization that provides help & hope for victims of abuse. They offer everything from classes and workshops aimed to help prevent child abuse, domestic abuse and sexual assault to a 24/7 Helpline to a Crises Shelter for parents and children. They support and advocate for survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. They provide prevention, education and awareness to strengthen individuals/families and make our community safer.

LACASA hosts several events throughout the year to raise much-needed funds for all of their community support. These events include Denim & Diamonds, Annual Golf Outing, Garden Tour Weekend and this year an Anniversary Party celebrating their 40th anniversary. Brighton Ford is happy to partner with them and help support these events.

When covid-19 changed plans for Denim & Diamonds, we partnered together to keep the event and also keep attendees safe. Alyssa and Gerie from LACASA presented John Cueter, General Manager, and Lauren Coffman, Marketing and Communications Director, with this beautiful piece of art which showcases the 20 Ford F-150's we used for individual tailgates for the 2020 event.

PINK-OUT at Brighton High School

Brighton Ford is a proud supporter of Brighton Area Schools and Brighton Athletics, including football! For their annual Pink-Out game, we passed out 1,500 spirit towels to help in the fight to raise awareness for breast cancer. Students collected donations all week and participated in spirit week to spread awareness across our schools. At the end of the week, students presented the Brighton Cancer Center with funds raised.

Ruck to Live 2021

We were honored to be a stop during the Ruck to Live 2021! It was a fully supported 10 mile ruck march to raise awareness to Veteran suicide!

All funds raised benefited Reboot Recovery courses. Reboot Recovery helps First Responders and Combat Veterans heal from PTSD. After the march ended at the Millpond, walkers and community members gathered for a full scale outreach event that included live music and a car show! Several Veteran specific support resources were present to help connect to several needs and supports!

Vehicle to a Better Future @ Cleary University

We love our community! Last night Jade Orlich, New Car Sales Manager, and Lauren Coffman, Director of Marketing and Communications, represented Brighton Ford at Cleary University's "Vehicle to a Better Future" event, which benefitted their scholarship programs!

Helping Service Dogs & Vets

Thank you to Blue Star Service Dogs for choosing Brighton Ford! Will was so happy to help you get your new Ford Transit to transport the service dogs! We truly appreciate your patronage and hope you can continue to help so many of our friends & neighbors.

Blue Star Service Dogs is a nonprofit organization based out of Pinckney, Michigan. Their slogan is "rescuing one to heal another" and their mission is "... to rescue shelter dogs, train them in our prison programs, pair them with veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or Traumatic Brain Injury and continue their training to be service dogs. By doing this, we are Rescuing One to Heal Another."

Food Drive 2021!

To kick off 2021 we wanted to support one of our local charities - Bountiful Harvest - with a Food Drive! For most of the month we collected nonperishable food donations as well as pet supplies & food! We were able to donate hundreds of pounds of food to support this wonderful nonprofit.

Bountiful Harvest is a nonprofit food pantry that serves the Brighton Community and delivers meals to over 2,000 families. Bountiful Harvest is a food pantry that is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers. With support from the local community and food banks, they are able to provide groceries, meals, clothing and access to employment agencies to people in need. They are located in Brighton and we serve the entire Livingston County. Bountiful Harvest also collaborates with Connected Kidz who provide laptops to students who qualify for the program.

21st Annual Santa Night & Toy Drive

To say we are thankful is an understatement! THANK YOU to our amazing community for coming together for our 21st Annual Santa Night! We did things a little differently this year and our event was a drive-thru event! Hundreds of cars came through and we collected 2,500 new toys for Marine Toys for Tots Foundation! Our toy donation was double what it was last year, despite changing the event and slippery roads. We could not be happier with how the event turned out and we had some amazing community support! Trunk or Treat 2020

Trunk or Treat 2020 was a HUGE success! Thank you so much to everyone who came. We had almost 700 children dressed up and ready for candy. A special thanks to the BAS Pack of Dogs, Outback Steakhouse, Rolling Thunder, Howell Chamber of Commerce and our awesome Brighton Ford team for hosting trunks and passing out candy. We were excited to offer a fun and safe socially distanced drive-thru event for our community.

Partnering With Local Businesses

Today we want to thank Snedicor's Cleaners for adding a third Ford Transit from Brighton Ford to their fleet!

This morning we dropped off the newest addition and got a tour of their brand new, state-of-the-art facility! Their entire operation was designed around the Ford Transit to maximize efficiency and to make sure every square inch of space is utilized.

Denim & Diamonds Poker Run 2020

Brighton Ford was a Golden Bridle Sponsor for LACASA's Denim & Diamonds Poker Run. We were so excited to be one of the 5 stops for the poker run and Brighton Ford also provided 25 2020 Ford F-150's for the guests to enjoy the private concert and fireworks while practicing social distancing! This event was an absolute blast and we were so happy to be able to support such a great cause.

WHMI's 93 Days of Summer

Congratulations to Grand Prize winner Ken Bendell of 93.5 WHMI's 93 Days of Summer annual contest. Brighton Ford awarded Ken $3,000.00 in addition to a full vehicle detail, coolant flush, oil change and tire rotation. We have been major sponsors of this fun event for the community for years and we were happy to be included again for 2020. Back to School Supply Drive

For the month of August, we collected school supply donations for our Back to School Supply Drive ! Brighton Ford loves and appreciates our teachers and educators and we wanted to help stock our classrooms. To encourage donations, customers were given a raffle ticket to enter to win one of SEVERAL prizes including a CHROMEBOOK, gift cards or $500.00 for their child's school! We may not know what the back to school plan is for sure, but we can all make a difference - one donation at a time!

Back to School 2020

Brighton Ford was so excited to help welcome our wonderful teachers and educators back for the 2020/2021 school year ! A few of our team members brought by snack bins to all of our local schools to help sweeten their returns. We love our teachers, administrators and educators and wanted to show them a small token of our appreciation. Happy Back to School on behalf of the Brighton Ford team !

Driving Out Hunger in Livingston County

For our final Random Act of Kindness we wanted to do something big ! Brighton Lighthouse, ' I Will Right Now' Foundation and Brighton Ford joined forces and donated Bountiful Harvest with a new vehicle to help serve the Brighton Community and deliver meals to over 2, 000 families. Brighton Ford collected nonperishable food donations for over a week and matched every food donation 1:1 to fill the van. We also donated $1, 000.00 to this wonderful charity. The ribbon cutting took place on Friday June 19, 2020 where several community members, along with our local radio station WHMI came to present the van to Yvonne, director of Bountiful Harvest. The icing on the cake was that Yvonne was celebrating her 75th birthday !

We are honored to partner with such great groups such as the " I Will Right Now Foundation" and the Brighton Light House. The " I Will Right Now Foundation" is a non-profit set up to help others navigate through a life threatening diagnosis. The Brighton Light House is a new space to connect, create and collaborate in Brighton, opening this year. The Brighton Light House will serve as a home for Heart Connected, LLC, the World Headquarters for North Manitou Light Keepers and will provide shared working space for practitioners working to make the world a better place by sharing healing arts practices. Brighton Ford Delivers ... Random Acts of Kindness

In an attempt to spread kindness we launched the #BrightonFordDelivers... Random Acts of Kindness campaign to support local businesses, help others and simply to spread cheer in our community. A Random Act of Kindness, no matter how small, can change someone' s day and we are hoping to bring smiles to as many faces as we can. We will be running the campaign throughout the summer and will continue to treat our front line workers to snacks or lunch, purchasing gift cards from local businesses to donate to food-insecure families and to help as much as we can ! We encourage everyone to join us ! Share your Random Act of Kindness on social media with the hashtag #BrightonFordDelivers and we will randomly select a few people to win full vehicle details. Keep Livingston County Rolling

Brighton Ford is helping to Keep Livingston County Rolling ! From Monday May 18 - Memorial Day, Brighton Ford donated $500.00 to the Livingston County school, non-profit or struggling business of our customer' s choice when they leased or purchased a new or pre-owned vehicle from Brighton Ford ! There are so many wonderful schools, non-profits and businesses and we wanted our customers to be able to decide who they wanted to support. One of the recipients was the Brighton Area Schools Pack of Dogs !

Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce

Brighton Ford is committed to developing relationships and to giving back in all of our surrounding communities. We celebrated kicking off 2020 with a partnership with the Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce at their " Puttin' On The Ritz 2020 Annual Awards Dinner." Brighton Ford has been active in our hometown of Brighton for several decades. Partnering for a Surprise for The Prout Family

Kindness is a life-changer ! The Prout Family received a Ford Transit Van, 1 year of gas, 1 year of insurance and 2 years of maintenance services in thanks to Fund A Life, Von Voigtlander, Mugg & Bopps, Sculley-Monroe and Brighton Ford. Family and Friends gathered for the surprise moment Larry Prout ‘ s dream came true. He has always wanted a transit and now he has one. The smile on Larry’ s face- priceless ! ! Larry is an awesome 18 year old from Pinckney. This van will help him use his scooter as he spends a lot of his time at the hospital and volunteering. Brighton Ford is so inspired and honored to be part of a generous community who genuinely lifts each other in hope, love and pure kindness.

Brighton Ford & Our Schools

Brighton Ford is dedicated to partnering with our local schools. We believe in supporting our community and in giving back. We are involved with several annual events with the schools, including our Annual Window Painting Contest. The Brighton, Michigan elementary schools each get to paint 4 of our large showroom windows on a designated evening where we supply them with all supplies, cocoa and cookies. 2019 was our 20th year hosting this fun event ! Voting takes place a few weeks later and all schools are invited back to vote for their favorite windows as well as to enjoy a fun-filled evening. We offer complimentary pizza, pictures with Santa, bounce houses, face painting and more ! In 2019, we had more than 1, 200 people come to show their support and vote. The winning schools are each awarded a prize to put towards programs at their respective elementary schools. In 2019 the winners were awarded $3, 000 for 1st place, $1, 000 for 2nd place and $500 for 3rd and 4th place. Congratulations to Hilton Elementary School and principal Jeff Eisele for winning 1st place this year !

DRIVE 4UR School

Ford DRIV E 4 UR School is another fundraiser we run to help give back to the schools. In 2019 funds were raised (up to $6, 000 !) to support Brighton Football teams. Community members can test drive a car from our amazing Ford lineup in return for a donation to the designated cause or charity.

Howell Chamber Connect

Today we hosted the Howell Chamber Connect at Brighton Ford ! We thought it would be a fun touch to offer our snacks and refreshments in the trunk of a 2020 Escape ! Thank you Howell Area Chamber of Commerce for coming for a visit. We were excited to host the first Connect (or tailgate !) of 2020 ! Camp Michitanki Fundraiser Kick-Off

It was great to host the Camp Michitanki fundraiser kick-off at Brighton Ford. Such an awesome group of people doing great things for kids !

Camp Michitanki (a camp for kids with organ transplants) offers opportunity for kids with health challenges to experience the joys of summer camp. Bowling for Camp Michitaki raises the money to help send up to 100 kids to camp for free !

Operation Letter Writing to our Troops

Brighton Ford partnered with Archer Huntley Financial Services and Brighton Area Schools to send letters to our troops ! The letters are generic in nature and they are sent to the troops who have no one writing to them, so they are letters of support. We were completely humbled by the community' s support for this simple, yet wonderful cause. We were lucky enough to get pictures of our service men and women with their letters.
